Exclusive PA showcase at Craft Dining Rooms in The ICC
We're delighted to invite you to an exclusive showcase at one of Birmingham's newest dining establishments - Craft Dining Rooms in the ICC.
Craft celebrates the best of British from its food & drink and champions the British wine industry by having 95% of their listed wine from English Vineyards including one only 20 miles from the city centre.
The restaurant has been getting rave reviews since it opened in July. The 100 cover restaurant has two private dining rooms and guests can work alongside the kitchen team to create a bespoke menu for their event.
Join us from 6pm - 8pm on Thursday 7th November for the chance to take a look around this brand new restaurant and enjoy a welcome drink and canapés. All we ask in return is a donation of at least £5 which, after Eventbrite fees, will be donated to our current charity, Sifa Fireside.
We hope you can join us for what promises to be a fantastic event.
join us for the pa guide christmas party at pentahotel
Join us for our final event of the year - our PA Guide Christmas Party - which the lovely people at pentahotel will be hosting for us!
pentahotel is just 5 minutes walk from the Bullring and has 131 spacious rooms as well as two meeting rooms, an on-site restaurant and a fitness centre.
Taking place on Thursday 5th December, 6-8 pm, we'll be treated to drinks on arrival followed by a three-course Christmas dinner in a private room!
To secure your place all we ask for is a small donation of £5 which, after Eventbrite fees, will be donated to SIFA Fireside. This time, as it's almost Christmas, we also thought it would be nice to donate some (new!) socks, gloves and hats to SIFA to help them support those in need over the festive period. If you would like to help out please bring these along with you on 5th December and we'll drop them down to SIFA before Christmas.
About our events
Having worked in various PA / Office Manager roles for many years, we know all too well that administrative staff rarely get to escape the office and meet each other.
When establishing The PA Guide, we set out to change this and get PAs out of the office to meet and socialise with each other. We hold regular events that allow PAs to network while the host venue gets to showcase the services that they can offer to both the PA and the business that they work for.
Since 2017 we have worked with some fabulous brands such as Fazenda, Maribel, The Botanist, Resorts World, Harvey Nichols, Dirty Martini, The Alchemist and Revolucion de Cuba. Our events have covered many formats such as drinks and canapes receptions, beauty demonstrations, wine tasting, cocktail masterclasses, physical challenges and full dining experiences.
Our events have proved to be so popular that in 2019 we have decided to use the opportunity to raise funds for a local charity. Going forward, to book a place at an event we will be asking for a small donation to a local charity - until 30 June 2019 our chosen charity will be Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity.

“I first attended a PA Guide event 18 months ago and have found the network to be a really useful way to meet contacts and build relationships. It’s amazing how often PAs speak to each other via email or phone without ever placing a face to a name and this group has helped me meet my contacts and expand my network.
Their events are always well planned and it’s good to go to newly opened restaurants as I can then confidently recommend them to my bosses.
The PA Guide network has been invaluable to me, I have met many great people through it and built work relationships I could never have reached out to otherwise. I’m always happy to see an email from The PA Guide in my inbox.”
