#PASOCIAL - Digbeth - Destination Fun - Thursday 5th March 6pm - 9pm

There's loads going on in Digbeth at the moment and it is fast becoming one of the most popular areas of the city for great food, drink and exciting experiences which are fantastic for a client or team event.

If you've always wanted to explore the area, but aren't sure where to start, then we've got the perfect event for you. On Thursday 5th March, we're hosting a Digbeth discovery event where you'll get to check out four of the fantastic venues that have recently opened in the area. 

We'll meet at 6pm for a welcome drink and the chance to take a look around the new board game cafe Chance and Counters in the Custard Factory.  We'll then head next door to brand new retro gaming bar NQ64 where you'll get to try your hand at a game of Pacman or
Sonic the Hedgehog!

We'll then head round the corner to check out Roxy Ballroom, a newly opened venue offering bowling, shuffleboard and beer pong (amongst other fun activities). We'll end the night in Birdies Bar where we'll be treated to one of their signature cocktails.

As always, we're asking for a donation of at least £5 which, after Eventbrite fees, will be donated to our current charity Re-Engage. 

#PASOCIAL - WhistlePunks Axe Throwing - Thursday 19th March 6pm - 8pm

And now for our second PA Social announcement... On Thursday 19th March from 6pm - 8pm we'd love it if you could join us an evening of axe throwing!

Yes, you read that right, we're working with Birmingham’s one-and-only urban axe throwing specialists, Whistle Punks, to show off its fantastic venue on Holloway Head.

This event is the perfect excuse for you to release any pent up stress! Unleash your fury or flex muscles you might not have used before, by learning how to sling an axe and hone your technique with coaching from the axe-toting experts. Who knows: you might even get to try some trick shots… ever thrown two axes at once before?!

About our events

Having worked in various PA / EA / Office Manager roles for many years, we know all too well that administrative staff rarely get to escape the office and meet each other.

When establishing The PA Guide, we set out to change this and get PAs out of the office to meet and socialise with each other. We hold regular events that allow PAs to network while the host venue gets to showcase the services that they can offer to both the PA and the business that they work for.

Since 2017 we have worked with some fabulous brands such as Fazenda, Maribel, The Botanist, Resorts World, Harvey Nichols, Dirty Martini, The Alchemist and Revolucion de Cuba.  Our events have covered many formats such as drinks and canapes receptions, beauty demonstrations, wine tasting, cocktail masterclasses, physical challenges and full dining experiences.

Our events have proved to be so popular that in 2019 we have decided to use the opportunity to raise funds for a local charity. Going forward, to book a place at an event we will be asking for a small donation to a local charity - until 30 June 2020 our chosen charity will be Re-Engage.
