New Event: Horses for Courses virtual horse racing experience on 3rd March

The PA Guide and PA Forum are delighted to be hosting an evening of virtual horse racing fun on Wednesday 3rd March at 7pm with the Horses for Courses virtual experience from Simon Howard.

While a real day at the races is unfortunately not on the cards at the moment, we're inviting you to experience 'Horses for Courses' which features a custom-built live betting platform where players can bet on their favourite horses in live-streamed races from the comfort of their own personal virtual VIP box.

Horses for courses

There will be a team of comedy bookies on hand to give players hints tips and betting advice on who they think will bring home the winnings as well as keeping the crowds entertained.

Bets can be placed individually or to maximise networking, players can be assigned a betting syndicate and given their own private boxes to discuss team strategies and share laughs together.

Horses for Courses is a fast-paced, high energy activity to kick-start to any networking event or social get together.

What you'll need to play:

  • A PC or laptop with webcam
  • We recommend downloading the Zoom desktop app from Zoom.us and/ or downloading the latest updates
  • A notepad and pen to take any notes and keep track or the bookies tips
  • A sense of fun and competitive spirit
  • (Optional) A copy of the racing post (It won't actually help you at all, but may make it look like you know what you're doing!)

Top tips:

During the event, we recommend disconnecting all other devices from your wifi to maximise bandwidth and give you the best possible experience.
