Who are we?

The PA Guide was founded by Oona who has over 20 years' experience in Administration, PA and Office Management roles in some of the top finance companies in Birmingham.

Why did I create The PA Guide?

The PA Guide was created as I know from personal experience how often PAs, EAs and administrative staff are called upon to book lunches, dinners or venues for networking events, conferences and other corporate events.

I recently asked a selection 50 PAs from businesses across the city how often they book venues on behalf of their company - 98% of respondents said they are regularly asked to make bookings for their bosses, team and clients. The PA Guide website aims to provide venue inspiration for these events and, as a result, make the lives of PAs easier.

Our network

Since the beginning of 2017, I have built a GDPR compliant database of over 975 PAs, EAs, and Administrative staff from over 400 businesses across Birmingham.

The PAs in the network work alongside and have the ear of some of the top businessmen and women in the city.  They regularly organise lunches, dinners and events and have significant influence over the venues chosen for these events.  Our database offers direct access to these often overlooked professionals who are frequently the key bookers and purchasers in the companies that they work for.

Why work with The PA Guide?

Are you looking to showcase your venue to the people most likely to make bookings in some of Birmingham's largest companies?

I organise regular venue showcases for PAs which are always well attended - over the past two years I have worked with venues such as Harvey Nichols, Fazenda, The Alchemist, Marco Pierre White Steak House and Grill, The Botanist, The Hyatt and Revolucion de Cuba.

Are you looking to tell PAs (and the businesses their work for) about your new venue or service or to raise awareness about promotions or competitions?

I also send regular email updates to our database featuring news on our latest events, new openings in the city, special offers, and competitions. Our newsletters get excellent open and click-through rates.

If you are interested in working with The PA Guide on any of the above, drop me an email to admin@thepaguide.com to learn more.
